Have no idea what Girona's coach is doing though, no subs despite playing with 10 for more than 30 minutes.

First time since 2014/15 Elche are back in La Liga.

They were relegated due to Financial issues despite finishing 14th but eventually clawed their way back up here again.

Yeah, and they also spend the 2017-18 season in Segunda B.

Also, their budget was 5th lowest in Segunda this season and their team 3rd oldest. With basically no time to prepare for next season and limited financial resources (eventhough they'll get some TV money) I just don't see how they can survive in Primera. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they'll turn out to be one of the worst La Liga teams in history.

Benfica have agreed a deal to sign Darwin Nunez from Almeria for 25 million euros.

Talks between the two clubs lasted several weeks but a record-breaking transfer has now been finalised.

Nunez's move to Benfica is the biggest sale any club in the second division of Spanish football has ever made.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink had held the previous record for the last 20 years, having joined Chelsea for 23 million euros from Atletico Madrid in 2000.

Nunez is also the most expensive sale in Almeria's history, beating Felipe Melo's eight million euro move to Fiorentina in 2009, and the most expensive transfer in Benfica's history, surpassing the 22 million euros spent to sign Raul Jimenez from Atletico Madrid.

Stuani staying at Girona despite rumours linking him to Espanyol. They've also signed Nahuel Bustos (the new Lautaro, lol) on loan from Atletico Talleres (through the City Football group obviously).

Almeria also very active this transfer window building almost a totally new team by signing 20 players. Spending well that Darwin Nunez money. Who cares that the team will have no chemistry. :) Still an interesting young team to follow though.

Lights, camera, action and fireworks. Almer?a has presented in style, in the Mediterranean Games Stadium itself, the megaproject for the remodeling of the first phase that it will carry out in the rojiblanco fiefdom. Faced with great anticipation, the presentation ceremony took place at the foot of the field, at the exit of the changing room tunnel.

The remodeling of the first phase will cost about five million, of which about one million has already been invested in the new lighting of the stadium. The estimated time for its execution will be three or four months. The main changes will be in the exteriors, changing rooms, offices, etc. As well as changes in the internal and external structure of the club. For its part, the second phase will be based on the elimination of the athletics tracks, with the aim of bringing the stands closer to the field of play and increasing the capacity of the stadium.
