He looks good on the highlights attacking wise. Better than Semedo.

With a real winger Goatcao ahead of him, the sky is not even the limit for him.

Definitely everyone should dial down the hype, he is not the 2nd coming of Alves. Dani was a monster of a player at both ends at a similar age.

He's 19 and is more an attacking wingback than a defender. But a helluva dribbler & understanding of attacking play + he can play on both flanks.

I smell we're building a good team here, but don't want to jinx it. Pretty confident this dude will work out.
Especially since it seems that we are now positionally more cohesive.

But people need to be patient.

It helps to have a good relationship with a team you often do business with and it shows here , Ajax demanded 20+5 from Bayern yet was willing to do 20 over 4 years from Barca.

Maybe Bayern will stop trying to poach players from our youth teams, freaking hate that, and then they will get off our shitlist.

According to Mike Verweij, Bayern attempted a last minute hijacking of the deal and offered a bigger bid and better wages but Dest made up his mind at that point.
