While we're at Rennes players, Faitout Maouassa could also be worth a look at. Abidal apparently already wanted to bring him as Alba's replacement.


Heck, send 100m to Rennes for Camavinga, Soppy and Maouassa. Too much but better than waste that money on Lautaro, lol.

In their Wednesday print issue, Sport Bild reiterated the Rekordmeister's desire to sign the US men's national team player. Not only have Bayern determined that Dest is their number one priority but the 19-year-old has also decided that he wants to join the treble-winner.

The biggest obstacle? There is a massive gulf when it comes to the player's evaluation.
Bayern want to pay less than 10 million upfront for the right back. Ajax, on the other hand, want 15-20 million for the American, whose current market value is 18 million.

Contract until 2022 btw.

Miguel Rico claims we want Dest on loan with a buy option if we sell Semedo. Would be good if true but Ajax will never accept that unless it's an obligatory buy (they've already sold VDB and Ziyech for almost 100m and don't need money urgently this year so I think this is something they could consider) and for more than 20m they want now.

Faitout is ok but buyer beware, this one cocotte who bitches more than Alba and Suarez combined. And he was goes down, he stays down for the count _ like got Od'd K.Od by Wilder. He can take the heat though and offers good cover.
Go for the inox or porcelaine 3.5L version

Soppy, Boey, Gboho, Georginio... lots of talent emerging from the Rennes academy.

They're good even on the signing front. They got Raphina till 2023. Been flying below the radar, but that's one superskilled dude who can go hypersonic on both wings.

Sounds like more smoke and mirrors now the Wijd and Depay deals are dead and dying.

Any point exactly in getting a right back for the future while Bob and Semedo are still here? For a coach and by a board who won't be here next year?
