https://www.football-espana.net/2020...radonas-corpseA funeral home worker who was in charge of preparing the body took and shared a photo of himself and his colleagues posing with Maradona?s cadaver as reported by Diario AS.
The dissemination of the photograph has produced uproar in Argentina, with Matias Morla, Maradona?s lawyer and close friend, denouncing the act and promising it won?t go unpunished.
?I?m going to personally take care of finding the scoundrel who took that photography,? Morla wrote. ?All those responsible for such an act of cowardice will pay.?
The funeral home worker was fired immediately as the news surfaced, but that hasn?t quelled the outrage.
Argentines are raging on social media at his despicable act.
E: Won't post pics here for obvious reasons.
Ayrton Senna had the most beautiful funerals and the upmost respect by everyone around his death.
Very sad to see this for Diego.
Yeah, but those were different times. Nobody would even think to take a picture of Senna's cadaver and post it online.
Social media has really ruined humanity.
Disturbing pics but I can see where they coming from. You have to understand that Diego is hailed as a God by many in Argentina. And South America in general is a tad more dramatic compared to Europe.
These pictures were inevitable.
Very stupid Barca has to pay 3000 euro fine for Messis tribute to Maradona. Classless league.
And if they say it's because the rule book, then fucking change it. You can tribute your dead club legends game after they die. Stupid.
The death of Diego Maradona continues to bring controversy. Every day that passes, new and controversial information is revealed. The last, one that has been launched by the lawyer of the Argentine star's nurse in which he assures that he suffered a fall with a blow to the head a week before he died.
With the police investigating his death on allegations of medical malpractice, the nurse's lawyer is now criticizing the fact that he was not immediately taken to the hospital for an MRI or scan, as he was recovering from brain surgery and was receiving attention 24 hours.
Thus, Gisela Madrid's lawyer, Rodolfo Baqu?, said: ?Maradona fell on the Wednesday of the week before his death. He fell and hit his head, but they didn't take him to the hospital for an MRI or CT scan. " He also claimed that the former FC Barcelona and Napoli player was left alone for three days after the crash. "Maradona could not decide anything, after the fall he stayed alone for three days in his room, without being seen by anyone and without help."

The story behind the jersey Diego Maradona wore 30 years ago for his ?Hand of God? goal
Argentina also turned to Aertex in 1986, but only for their iconic blue-and-white-striped first-choice jerseys. When they beat Uruguay 1-0 in the round of 16, they did so in a blue cotton top that gave coach Carlos Bilardo cause for concern: such a garment would prove anything but comfortable for their quarter-final showdown with England in Mexico City?s soaring afternoon temperatures.
Bilardo asked Argentina?s kit manufacturer to come up with lighter blue shirts, an impossible request given the short deadline. With just three days to go before the match, he sent out Ruben Moschella, a member of his coaching staff, to scour the shops of the Mexican capital for a suitable kit. He returned with two different blue shirts, which they subsequently weighed but were unable to choose between. It was then that Diego Maradona appeared. Pointing to one, El Diez said: ?That?s a nice jersey. We?ll beat England in that.?
Moschella returned to the shop and bought 38 of the shirts chosen by the Albiceleste skipper. A designer fashioned some makeshift Argentinian Football Association (AFA) badges, which were then sewn on to each jersey, with silvery American Football shirt numbers hurriedly ironed on to the backs. A few hours later, Maradona scored the infamous ?Hand of God? goal followed by one of the finest solo efforts ever seen in a world finals, all in a shirt hastily sourced from a backstreet shop in Mexico City.

“I would love to have played at this club. I am envious of how well Guardiola's men can play. They are like a group of kids who play football in the street without rules. That is the best football, the most authentic, unfettered by tactics or schemes. Guardiola’s philosophy is helping to change the mindset of many tacticians and that is priceless.” Marco Van Basten
Barca will win the league, trust me.
Edit (after 2-1 loss against Cadiz): Don't trust me.
Edit2 (after 1-1 against Eibar): Its over guys.
Edit3 (after Real 1-1 against Elche): Congratulations Atletico.
Along with his countryman, the greatest player of all time.
Got a chance to watch the documentary about him. Really interesting.
