We are talking about soccer, nobody give a shit about that..... he won the the wc with an outstanding performance (probably the best ever in a wc),
in Argentina he will be consider forever a god.
“I would love to have played at this club. I am envious of how well Guardiola's men can play. They are like a group of kids who play football in the street without rules. That is the best football, the most authentic, unfettered by tactics or schemes. Guardiola’s philosophy is helping to change the mindset of many tacticians and that is priceless.” Marco Van Basten

Who cares about his charisma or how he will be considered in Argentina?

Charisma? He looks and acts like a lunatic, very much in love with himself.

    Not only the charisma.
Maradona was actually even more talented than Messi: more flair, more genius, overall wider set of skills.
Still, during the last 30-40 years, prime Messi (2010-2013 or even more so 2015 for overall completeness) has probably been the closest thing to him in terms of sheer dominance and skills, along with pre-injury Ronaldo de Lima.

the way I differentiate both of them is that Messi has been more consistent at the highest level for a much longer time and scores a hell a lot more goals than him while Maradona has a more "bull" physicality with a lot more passion and aggressiveness than Messi. They are both geniuses in their own way and the 2 GOATS for me.

    I agree.
In terms of pure talent, Maradona is unrivalled.
