EV was a shit manager who only won titles because messi was performing well and consistently in the league. the argument that he's better than setien is a dead end: yes, he is, but so what? they are both crap. that hes better than setien is hardly a credit to EV, lol. that's not a very high bar

This Barca squad was never going to win the CL in the first place. He did everything he could. There will be more CL humiliations in the future, buddy. No matter whos in charge.

i agree that we were never going to win the CL, but there's a difference between being eliminated and being humiliated. EV made defeatism and losing the norm, and he was never punished for it, which impressed upon the players for 3 straight years that failure was tolerable. to say nothing of his awful signings and the terrible football he had us play.

the argument that no matter whos in charge blah blah is also bollocks. why bother having a manager then? if you really thought that, then thered be no reason to criticize Setien, either, or Koemann, or anyone, really. obviously thats not the case

So we wouldn't have won against spurs if we got through our 3-0 lead against Liverpool?
Also we were never going to win getting humiliated against cl minnows Roma?
If he wasnt a eunuch we would of at least had 1 cl to our name and wouldnt have been humiliated multiple times.
Replacing him mid season with some who didn't have the backing, time and tools to make any sort of changes only resulted in things getting worse.

He was an awful fucking manager who had no guts. He really let the entitlement culture flourish at the club and those cl humiliations brutally exposed us for what we were. A soft team with no mental or physical strength.
The job of cleaning up his and Barto mess has just begun

Barca fan logic nowaday: Blame coach then blame president then blame players. Blame coach because thought players were good enough but not the coach, blame president because he ruined club for years and he was the main problem, blame players because they all past their time and no longer good enough.
Thought things would be better if they all gone. Now still no result at all.
