HOw does your wife speak fluent English, your kids pick it up quickly, and yet Messi still speaks terrible lazy Argentine Spanish? And Still no Catalan or English? :facepalm1::facepalm1:

Messi understands basic English, just doesn't speak it. But for sure he could be better, not that he needs it.
He knows Catalan.

Listen to the wisdom Baggio told Messi.
"don't listen what they say outside". 18.33

The way Guardiola describe Leo to Baggio:wub:

Thanks for sharing. Baggio seems like an amazing person and Pep seems like a loving manager who once you earn his respect will respect you. Puyol acted like a true leader and captain, miss this guy. I hope he took that advice to heart, staying humble.

Captain material we missed you last night

https://youtu.be/oivdttzixm8

He was same for large parts of game Vs Atletico a few days ago.

Doesnt move an inch off the ball to provide options or help open up game.

He slows game down to suit his lack of legs and then is faced too often with opposition defence back in numbers and drives at them or tries some high risk pass.

Then get usual nonsense about 'Messi dragging Barca' and 'Messi has to do it all himself' when he plays a large part in that.

The fact folk could still argue he was best in world even a few months ago was pure delusion. He is one of best in world on the ball and that is it but that is not enough now.

You idiot (I call you idiot because you call me fanboy without knowing me) are so busy repeating your trivial argument (players after 30 decline) that you don't even understand the meaning of the answer I gave you.

Obviously someone who was among the best ever has more credit available to understand if it is a definitive decline and if he can still deliver if well administered

If I'm not mistaken didnt ronaldo go through a bad few months with real after a falling out with the club. Got back on track after the mental burden was lifted

With Messi it is pros vs cons. His cons have always been there, it is just that with age the scale is leaning further and further towards the other side and as a club it is time to do things differently

I dont know about that. I think he needs a fresh start and things might click again. He is just not focused now. You can still see the moments where he is focused

Ronaldo can run and move off the ball so he can still play football to some extent.

Messi is more suitable for sports where you don't need to move.
Like chess or darts.

On one hand, I am sad to write these things about Messi, but he is not even a starter material anymore.
