Cruyff,Maradona, Schuster,Laudrup, Stoichkov,Guardiola,Koeman,Rivaldo,Ronaldo, F**o,Ronaldinho,Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Eto'o,Alves, Neymar all great players that have been and gone through this great club. Granted Messi has had a far bigger impact than all of them but perhaps it's time for FC Messi to become FC Barcelona again. If he was 25 then yes this is an absolute disaster, but he is now 33 years old, Barca needs a functioning team again, the over reliance on Messi both on the pitch and in the boardroom has crippled the club in recent times.

If he really doesn't want to stay, then let him go, wait for Bartomeu to dissapear and lets rebuild.

As much as I hate Bartomeu, that is a good decision. Otherwise all the press will focus on Messi issue not Trincao himself.
