Valverde truly got the best out of an aging Messi. I'm afraid this will be the norm with Setien's grueling training destroying the seniors body's and accelerating their decline.

How unlucky has this guy been with his managers for the last 7-8 years? Seems we got another stubborn coach who belongs at a mid-table team.

He'll live to regret his decision ending his career at the Club, got a few more years in him at top level, this side need major rebuilding. Take the Barca goggles off and from the outside one more heartbreak in Europe and if he decides to stay he quite frankly deserves it.

Also that sixth Ballon d'Or lit a fire in Ronaldo's belly, whilst Messi has been pants since.

He's been playing like he wants to retire lately.

Either way you can tell he has no faith in his teammates and knows the season is a lost cause at this point. Suarez's presence and the partnership with him as another reliable attacker is what kept his head in it earlier is the season. Now that he's gone Leo doesn't give a feck anymore.

Messi is a problem for the team right now, he doesnt do shit without the ball, in todays football that is impossible, or playing him false nine or Barça Will suffer against other teams

Wouldnt blame Messi (or anyone too much). Our board just sucks. Look at our frontline. No cohesion. No quality. Gping into the season with only Suarez was a grave mistake.
