I'm worried that he seems to be pushing himself beyond his normal work rate off the ball and after a while, he will drop to his usual effort. If he played like that consistently he's starter material, but he won't.

He looks in better shape and even showed some decent off the ball movement but still has some bad traits on the ball outside of moments of brilliance like that pass to Trincao. I'm not convinced by him.

He looked good and in shape because he was on the hands of the jerman GOAT doctors from Bayern for the last year.

He'll be back to his usual bum level in a few months.

Calling it right now he'll have a belly by winter.

In his first half season wearing that number he had decent stats. Now that he is staying, lets hope he doesn't flop again.

Bayern's goat doctor is a professor and doctor of sport science and performance diagnostics (not of medicine) and fitness coach - whose knowledge and bundles of SAP data (Bayern works closely together with SAP) get really used of Flick now - in difference to former coaches, where his knowledge and work was not that appreciated.
