He had him on loan for 6 months while he was espanyol's manager before coutinho moved to Liverpool. Since then poch rates him very highly, even comparing him to Messi and ronaldinho. It's why he nearly joined Tottenham last year

To bad, Pochettino is jobless at the moment. But Coutinho has very good chances to play next season for Chelsea, Newcastle or Leicester Utd.

Newcastle United have started negotiations with Coutinho and the initial mood music coming out of Coutinho's camp is positive. [france football]

Imagine going from Liverpool>Barca>Bayern>Newcastle lol

Doubt Newcastle happens as the takeover looks less and less likely all the time.

If it were to happen and they got likes of Poch in as coach then would not be a bad move for him to a rich club in worlds highest profile league.

I thought they’d already been taken over, haven’t been following it tbh.
