They are full of attacking midfielders and strikers but not real full backs or wingers that can go on outside and deliver ball into box.
Could easily see why they are after a 'proper' wide player and another full back to give more options.

Yeah fair enough. Suppose that would leave us with no real wingers, add Depay to the mix and we’ve got about 5 players who prefer playing more centrally

Barca get their width from full backs and Fati/Trnicao can play out there as well.
Messi at times can go wider as well.
Doubt he will go to United but Dembele could easily be behind Fati and Trincao this season even if could stay fit.

This will backfire, because Dortmund will receive money from Barca if Dembele leaves. Best case scenario for them.

Bascially Gerard Romero says Barca denys any negoatations and Dembele has no intentions of leaving.

I'm sure they will consider it if there is a decent offer (book value/amortisation) on the table for him. High earner, again came late for training, injury-prone and Koeman likes Ansu, Trincao and Pedri a lot, also said positive things about Konrad. If he wants Depay, Barcelona will have to sell first. Many question marks here.
Might just be a move by United to push Sancho to do something unorthodox like Dembele when he wanted the move to Barcelona.
