It was meant that they are unlikely to negotiate. Villarreal is financially stable club and don't need to sell so they can just ask for his buy out clause especially because EPL clubs like Arsenal are reportedly also prepared to pay 50m for Pau. So if we'll want him we'll need to pay that much as well.

I was watching his highlights on yt and he is really good at long passing...Seems decent overall and quite fast for 1.91m.
Maybe it is time to buy some players from spasnih league because this players from french and england are waste of money and they are overrated.
Pau Torress and Ferran are not to expensive but good aditions to squad and can be improved a lot.
This two for 65-70 millions is not bad.

Pau looks like another one in the line of those Lenglet level defenders. Seen the guy in person and he isn't anything special.
If we got budget, lets go for the absolute best of the market and not just some decent priced option with LaLiga experience. We are not Valencia.

There are good players to be found in Spain but When it comes to CB's Idk I just can't really get all that excited when it comes to La Liga CB's if you ask me.
Many can do the basics right as in bringing the ball out the back but the other areas of their game just seem shrug worthy. Like Lenglet and Inigo Martinez types, guys who are good in their own right but don't have that Barcelona, Real, etc starter quality status.

if we can not pay extra 200m€ we can not talk about CL title or La liga title
we really need radical changes
for example we can get Aguero instead of Werner in free transfer
look Suares got injured and there is no any striker
and also we don't have any other creative players except Messi
so we have to make this squad and we have to seperate our ways with some players like Bousquets, Rakitic, Umtiti, Langlet, Roberto, Vidal, Griezmann,

Haaland is bought by Real Madrid 70m€ and they will get more players by paying extra 250-300m

with what money? The club right now is cutting wages, no way they will have a lot of funds to spent for next season (whenever that will be).
Realisticly there won't be any big transfers.
