Same thing with Raul days.. And m'oriente. I don't have the numbers but I'm almost sure majority of goals were crosses

Not really. Literally if you can't outpace or dribble past your marker, there's nothing else you can do when your opponents put backline of 5 players who will never leave their trenches. Marcelo has no pace anymore, same with Modrić, Lucas never had much, Hazard is getting back into it and is the only producing something different from a dribble. The only other player who ironically doesn't cross as often is Vinicius, but that's because his only weapon is pace.
