Reminder that Alaba is in the last year of contract and still hasn't signed an extension. He's 28, in excellent physical shape and can play multiple positions. Would be a massive upgrade over Alba.

He'll want a huge contract in his late 20s. Not sure it's a good idea tbh.

Generally I am in agreement with the criticisms. There are times when Firpo exhibits a football iq of around 70. Tonight was no exception. But... He did improve after a very shaky start. He makes really rapid off-the-ball runs and I feel that with intensive coaching he is not quite a write-off yet.
