Alba cracked in one game and been top player and the best LB in our recent history ..
Firpo is a player who can't offer anything interesting for Barca level … he has the level to play for Mallorca or Betis at most when he can fuck up ball controls as much as he want and get schooled by an 18 years old very average youngster.
Oliver Khan cracked in the WC final against Brasil, so he was a shitty GK ?
Big player can crack under pressure… poor talent don't cause their is nothing they aspire for !!

If you believe some members of this forum, it shouldn't be possible to have the best game of the season with a shit player like Junior Firpo starting at LB.
Same can be applied to Todibo, Alena or others.
It's the teamwork and collective performance that should elevate players and develop them. The influence is from whole -> individual, not otherwise. You play well as a team, players will look better, more comfortable, and will grow in confidence, giving the best version of themselves. You play like crap, and the individual performances will drop.
Dembele would also have had the best performance of the season last night had he played.
Firpo is an attacking threat because of his speed and his direct style. It allows the LW to cut inside and operate closer to the goal. I can totally see why we bought him.
The issue is he is not good enough defensively, for now at least, against solid teams.
