Regarding scouting English players, they aren't too interested in Barca.
Plus, they are coming from a different world of football.

Dutch, Spanish, Brasilian, French and Portuguese players are usually our "guys".
1. Football played in their countries have similarities with Barca's DNA.
2. Their legendary players played for us so those kids grew up dreaming about Barca
3. Plus, a climate, lifestyle and mentality is similar to Barca's (except Netherlands)

On the other hand:
1. English football is different, their players would be confused here
2. Traditionally, they aren't too connected with us (like Dutch kids)
3. A climate is the opposite to English

He has plenty of time to develop into dani-alves-status (if he has the potential ceiling), the lad is only 20 years old. At 20 Dani Alves had just joined Sevilla, on loan and no one here had ever heard of him

I think he means scouting midtable Premier League teams in general. I really like Maddison but not sure he would be good enough for Barca. Then again, I wouldn't have thought Eriksen would be either.

Midtable teams in PL is a non-market for teams outside of England.

Just take a look at recent examples like Maguire last year, Maddison and Wan-Bissaka this year. Their clubs are all demanding more than 50M despite them being PL regulars for only like a year.
English talents are too valuable for teams like Barca to buy them and there are better places to scout.

I'd add that:
- It's rare for English players to play outside England in general.
- The languages are less similar than Spanish, French and Portuguese.

He will never be as good as Alvez, who is probably the best right back of all time. TTA is a cross merchant, that's it - he wouldn't be good at Barca because we don't attack with crosses. Alvez had it all - crossing - and he was superior in technique, first touch, interplay, dribbling, long balls, defending, movement, shooting. He was so good he played many times seamlessly as a RW. Comparing TTA to Alvez is massively disrespectful to Alvez.

Wow a comment from BBZ I actually agree with.

Confirmed: The world is ending.

There is absolutely no comparison what so ever. It's absurd to think otherwise.
There seems to be a trend of over rating players these days after a 20 min performance. Guys doing well but not GOAT RB well...

No he is not at Alves' level at all. But to be fair, its not like TAA is crossing to a group of target-men or a plethora of Cristiano Ronaldos all the time, is it? Their forwards are Firmino (5'11"), Mane (5'9"), Salah (5'7"). The only target-man-like is Origi (6'1") who hardly plays at all. I don't believe for one second that Liverpool are specifically set-up for crosses at all. TAA just happens to be damn good at finding people with his crosses and long passes. He's a a midfielder converted to fullback after all.
