If we get more of the same, we might not even make it top 3 in La Liga next year. But let's see.

Board really screwed the pooch on that one. With crazy extensions all over the place, they essentially gave the players the keys to the kingdom. Making the radical overhaul impossible since we can't force them out.
What a drag! So many amazing talents out there available at bargain prices.

In order of importance.

1) Get rid of Valverde and bring in a winner and a leader to manage us. A fish rots from the head down. There are two heads in this case. Valverde and Bartomeu. These two are the main responsible for the CL fiasco in the last 2 years.

2) Midfield needs fresh blood badly. Rakitic needs to go, Busi needs to be a squad player and not a sure starter. Arthur and De Jong should play the majority of matches. They are the fresh blood that is needed. Maybe bring in a new player as well.

3) Suarez and Messi don't defend. They fail the team time and time again when the opponent is pressing us hard. Suarez needs to play less. Bring in a new forward instead of him who will challenge for the forward position.

4) Sign De Ligt and a forward.

In league campaigns quality of the players matters the most. It's Barca or Madrid 99% of the time these days. If Madrid won't challenge for La Liga next season, it is logical that we will win it again.

Most teams who come to Camp Nou shit themselves in La Liga, not even Atletico are themselves. Only Madrid manage to come on Camp Nou and play well. We are very much the boogeyman in La Liga.

Best plan going forward should be to monetise older or meh players while they still command high market value and replace with a fresher, better, hungrier pool. Just for Bob, we can get 50 mil, I'd take the deal and add some to buy Havertz or some other impact player. and ie, for LB, we could monetise ageing Alba who still commands a high market value (70 mil?), even at 30. Replacing him with Ferland for 15 mil is just good biz.

even his music reel is boogey :lol:

Here may be the solution to include some mayor fact:
1. Roberto will always be in front Semedo in Valverdes eyes
2. No way Griezmman or Suarez will be on the bench
3. De Jong is in my opinion the best when playing this deep lying playmaker or false CB

Not that i like it, but lets at least hope for something like this. Griezmann is very good in this 1-2 plays and with this style he could alse help Roberto show his strengths in attack and opposite. I believe they can complement each other alot, both attack and deffense.
I also see very good possesion game here with amazing rhomboid in the miidle(listed bellow),which would help both full backs stretch the field.

Lenglet, Dembele, Coutinho, Semedo, Vidal, Alena LB as strong options from the bench.
