That is a lot of money for a 17 years old who's not playing in first division. Have to admit, his stats against Paraguay looks promising.

Looks VERY interesting. Would have gone for him if he had been a 9 instead of a AM. No room for AM's in our system because of Messi.

But what about a 17 year old AM. Messi is at the tail end and even if he stays for the next 5 seasons, won't be a 90 minute player.

How is Real Madrid going to get him since all of their three non-EU spots are taken?

Unless he is loaned out?

If you want to gamble 70-80M on a Messi esque AM, Joao Felix is a much better option.

Oh, definitely. I am not saying Reinier or Joao are the man. Just stating that I do not think we can "use the Messi in the way reason" when talking about such a young talent and the age gap.

Real are really going all out, aren't they ?

Between Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo Goes and this guy, they are definitely taking no chance in losing the next Neymar.

With how well Pedri is developing and Puig also around waiting for his chance I don't think we should spend 50M+ on another midfield talent. Would prefer to use that money on someone more proven in top European leagues who can step into our first team/starting XI immediately.
