Ansu Fati (loaned to Brighton)

Nice to see him not getting any game time so Rakitic can play while we are winning 3-0 on the 80th minute.

Even if he gets 15 mins here and there, it’s not enough. He needs regular playing time to develop and gain rhythm. Loaning him out, it’s not an option. Playing for the B-team, bad option too. Difficult situation but needs to play whole games week in and out. Atleast 30 min.

At 16 that may be too much. Not even Messi did that. I think 20 minutes or so should be good enough.

Valverde obviously wants the main thrio do get minutes together. When time comes for rotations, Ansu will get his chances.

Griezmann played 180 min with France so it'd been a perfect time to sub him off when we scored our 3rd goal. But this early into the season it might be better to let MSG play together as much as possible, and THEN rotate.

10 weeks ago no one believed he will be with 1st team, even with injury crisis people thought other players like Ruiz will be ahead of him. EV put immense faith of him and suddenly everyone curse him when he isn't substituted in last 15 minutes? I understand that people hates EV and love the young shiny prospect who is a breath of fresh air for that old team. But people need to chill a little watching this team and don't make a big deal of every fine detail.

And him playing a lot of minutes in 1st team when he is under 18 could destroy him. Plenty of players who get promoted that early for top level get injuries later on, like Messi or Aguero. Some even doesn't get the proper development.
Not sure why B team is bad option? It is where every former La Masia prospect played at hissage or even older age. Almost everyone but Bojan. He will get the chance to iron his talent with less pressure.

He is 16.5 y old kid. When Dembele gets back he should be moved to B team to play regularly and Valverde should call him to A team only when he intends to play him. There is no point in sitting on the bench for 2 games in a row! Next year he will be promoted to A team since Suarez will be to old to be a starter but until than he needs to play as much as possible!

Fati will get enough playing time. Fati should get a fighting chance vs Dembele in stead of just demoting him to b-team after being so good and productive for first team. He played an important role, is accepted by first team coach and players, and just demoting him would be a slap to his face. We need to take advantage of his momentum, being part and relevant to the first team, Will give him the strongest motivation. And with other players injury free, we dont depend on him, so the pressure is of and he can play easy wellsuited Matches and be an impact sub.

He doesn't belong to the bteam, hasnt ever played there. He is part of the A-team 100%, and he doesn't need to play week in and out imo if he keeps delivering and improving and can play every second or third match. And he has done that untill now.

Relax. He is under Messi wing so he should not get frozen out over the next few weeks.

But if he has only played 15 minutes over the next 4/5 games then it would look absolutely stupid not letting him go to the WC U-17. And that would be a very Valverde thing to do.

Are we 100% sure his future lies on the left wing or could he be molded into a goalscoring CF in the future?

If, God forbid shit like that happens - Valverde is screwed I think. The boy attracted so much attention from Leo not just coz he's a rare talent emerging from the Cantera in the recent past but also coz his agent is pep's brother!

Valverde doesn't give a fuck about Fati. He has thrown him into fire because he had all other forwards injured. Fully expect Fati to not play at all from now on.

Ideally, players are eased in but that's not the case here anymore and it stands for new youngsters joining first team. Firpo doesn't play at all and then gets 90mins - gets injured. Todibo same as Firpo. Surprise, surprise how they can't stay fit without competitive minute in 2 months!?
Valverde is a dumbfuck, that's all. But hey, physical preparation is not important according to Barca manager.

He's going through a warp speed growth spurt. I had the same thing when I was 16 and ate frog legs for the 1st and damn last time. I'm still growing!!!!

If no growing pains and teething, he should be a starter. CRY are desperate for a CF upgrade. He's actually wayyyyy too good for them but he and Zaha would tear out the PL a new one jajaja

Come to think of it, there's very few teams out there where he wouldn't be starter
