As an Argentinian fan, I hope Betis activate the purchase option. I don't see him playing regularly with/ahead of the likes of Veratti, Marquinhos and maybe a new CM PSG might purchase in the summer. (Not to mention Paredes as well).

I root every week for Betis to lose for this very reason. The purchase option becomes mandatory if they qualify for Europe.

Best Betis player so far this season, not surprised we're interested. Don't know how likely is we'd really buy him this summer but we could use a goalscoring midfielder.

Are Betis gonna activate the option to buy? Doubt we’d get him if he went back to PSG.

They won’t have any money if they don’t qualify for the UCL. And I don’t think a player can move twice in one window.

Iirc, the only limitation is that a player can't play for 3 different teams in one season. Betis can totally buy him and instantly sell him to Barca, as long as it doesn't happen like this for example: starts the season with PSG, gets sold to Betis, plays a game, gets sold to Barca (for example).
Something similar happened to Ben Arfa when he joined Nice in January 2015. Back then, he was a Newcastle player. Newcastle loaned him to Hull for the first part of the season. But before that, in August, he played a couple games with Newcastle's U21 team. The French Federation asked the FIFA if he as allowed to play for Nice, and the FIFA said that it would be against the rules since it would mean playing for a 3rd different team in one season. Nice didn't sign him, and Ben Arfa had to basically stop playing and training properly for 6 months, till the end of the season. He eventually signed with Nice in june, when everything was cleared.
