He's doing much better than expected tbh. He's still raw in many aspects of the game but I like his attitude. l believe he has a lot of room for improvement and he'll have another season at Betis to do that. Yeah, he's not a new Alves but he's also not the next Douglas as many people were affraid when we've signed him. He's already much better than Lord Douglas. Don't know if he'll make it at Bar?a but he deserves a fair chance and I think he can stick around for a few years at least as a good backup once he comes back in 2021. Otherwise we should be able to sell him for a solid money and he'll have a good career in a good European club.

Barcelona have practically ruled out bringing Emerson to the club this summer.
The Brazilian would occupy a non-EU spot and Bar?a already reached that limit.
Emerson could stay at Real Betis for one more year, but the idea of selling the right-back is not off the table.
Bar?a consider to have done an excellent piece of business if they can get 20 million euros or more for Emerson.
Various Premier League sides have shown serious interest. In recent years, Bar?a made huge profit on the likes of Marlon and Mina as well.
