Looking back at this thread and the posts that it contains from the lot that praised this signing, it just becomes funnier each single time. Truly something else.
KPB was signed to rest Suárez whenever possible. Believed nobody.
Instead we got this from our "alpha":

What we do know is Valverde wanted a backup #9 after Munir left, but I doubt that he had Boateng in his mind.
The Boateng loan has to be one of the biggest out of left field moments we had in terms of signings. I never expected him to be on any list in general because he's not a real Striker, he's a Midfielder who was pushed up as a #9.

Shouldn't step onto picth again as a FC Barcelona player.
Players in our first team that would be better strikers than him:
-Suarez
-Messi
-Dembele
-Malcom
-Rakitić
-Vidal
-Alena
-Pique
Probably even Todibo and Lenglet, possibly MATS, since he has better control and passing vision.
