Could be headed to Paris or Milan over the winter mercato

According to what has been reported by reputable PSG-focused sports outlet Paris United, Paris Saint-Germain have overtaken AC Milan in the race for former Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes, who current plays for Zenit in the Russian League.

Milan were interested in bringing Paredes to the club in January, as an alternative choice to Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas; who seems to be the Rossoneri’s first choice signing. However, now it has been reported that Chelsea want to keep Fabregas and PSG are ready to sign Paredes as soon as January.

He's not exactly the CDM as Motta was, but more as a deep-lying playmaker like Pirlo and Carrick. Not sure he's a player PSG needs. As an argentinian fan, I hope PSG will sign him as he really needs get out of Russia.

He is a great deep-lying playmaker for sure. Hits those long balls very accurately. An interesting player to watch, finally he returns to Europe.

Is there anyone that follow him to say if he could be an option for us instead of Rabiot? I haven't watched him play besides highlights but his stats are very impressive. Lots of key passes, through balls and long balls which we lack in the midfield... of course its the russian league
