What a player. Couldn't watch our game, so watched Brescia vs Juve and this guy stood out amongst guys. His Whoscored ratings show that he has been great in other games aswell. He is that old Scholes/Pirlo type of DM/regista; lots of long balls to switch play and balls over the top. Going to be special IMO.

MOTM against Juve today IMO and just 19....

Could he be the Busquest replacement ?

Heard a lot of good about this kid. Can anyone from Italy (or whoever watches Serie A) tell if he is more of a holding mid with defensive feats or is he actually really viable as a lone CDM?

He is a creative beast, a regista. Actually has to be helped out defensively.

Masterclass again today against Napoli. Played 5 key passes from deep midfield position. Going to the very top this guy

I'm surprised it's been so quiet when it comes to him. Not linked to many clubs, at least not on a grand scale.

It is said that all italian big teams and european powerhouses are after him (City, PSG, MU,etc.). Juventus is very serious about him since they don't want another Verratti scenario. Leonardo follows him closely and PSG regularly sends scouts.. Speculation he will likely stay in Italy so Juventus, Inter, maybe Milan.

His team wants a lot of money for him. Around 50 M.

A shock offer from the Catalans, who see in the director of Brescia the new Busquets and a potential Iniesta. The mind of Cellino, the pressing of Marotta, the character of Lautaro

Very strong, very young, very wooed. Everybody wants him, everybody's looking for him. Sandro Tonali is undoubtedly the new golden boy of Italian football. But he's in serious danger of losing him in a few months' time. In front of everyone is Barcelona. A real blitz that of the Catalans. And it's a not insignificant advantage, it ensures who is close to the boy. Massimo Cellino, president of Brescia, spoke like this in recent days, deliberately leaving a veil of mystery around what promises to be one of the big deals of the next football market: "In February I received a very important request for Sandro, but I didn't say anything to him, with the intention of giving him a nice surprise in June. I can't say the name of the team, however". It's Barcelona. They've already formalized an offer, one that's difficult to refuse. The blaugrana club has 60 million euros ready plus the tag of two promising singers that Cellino could then enhance and then, who knows, replace. It is a left fullback and a central midfielder, each with a valuation of 5-7 million euro.

The Tonali deal would therefore yield Brescia something like 70 million euro in total. Shock factor. It turns out, however, that that of Barcelona is not even the richest proposal received by Cellino: the Psg seems to be willing to put on the table even a higher check, the CEO Leonardo is on the trail of Tonali since he worked for Milan. The Covid-19 emergency, with card prices generally falling due to the economic crisis that will affect all clubs, large and small, will not prevent the auction for the best young talent, like the director of Lodi. Him, Castrovilli, Chiesa, Donnarumma. On them will focus the efforts of the clubs, that if they invest, they will do so on the future. Beppe Bozzo, the expert prosecutor who has been Tonali's agent for a few months now, has always had very close contacts with Real Madrid, one of the many big names involved. But as I said in front of everyone right now there is Barcelona, which sees in him not only the next Busquets, but even potentially the new Iniesta.

According to English bookmakers, he will win the Golden Ball before 2023. An optimistic forecast, since he is only 20 years old. But the fabric is there: technique, personality, vision of the game. As confirmed by the fact that he has entered the Mancini Nation on a stable basis. In Italy Inter are the team with the best chance. Juve are right behind, but without the certainty of offering a starting position at a disadvantage. Milan see him as perfect for the new Elliott course, based on the growth of talented youngsters, plus Sandro is a Rossoneri fan, but the boy is out of budget, the price goes well over 35-40 million which is the roof of Gazidis. The black-blue d.g. Marotta, who has been targeting Tonali since Juve's time, obviously knows about Barcelona's offer. But he doesn't intend to give up, also thanks to the excellent relationship with Cellino.

Conte is very fond of the director, he sees him very well to add quality to his midfield. Marotta's pressing is constant, with phone calls to Cellino on the agenda. A key to make up, to catch up, could be the operation Lautaro Martinez, in Barcelona's own sights, ready to pay the 111 million clause to take Toro to Messi. Cashing that figure, the Nerazzurri could have the liquidity to relaunch on the Tonali front, raising the offer from the current 40-45 to 60, balancing Bar?a's proposal. In short, a real market intersection. Still very open.

He's not the type of midfielder we need. His strengths are already covered with Arthur and Frenkie. What we lack is a midfielder who produces points or a player who's strength is to win the ball back.

kevin de bruyne is what we need. even our boy thiago would do.

Impossible transfer and even if City somehow decided to let him go cant see him favouring Barca where Messi is the the one team is built to. While KDB would be in an old slow team that would be required to play out of position to cover.
