Serie B player of the season award last season at the age of 17...Thats impressive. Already called up for the Italian senior national team. Looks much more physical than Verratti.

He is definately one to watch! I'd buy him and loan him to the Serie A for 3 seasons.

One of the if not the most highly rated Italian midfielder. He has a very bright future in front of him. Comparing him with Pirlo given their clubs, position and strengths is what it is but the hype is warranted for now.

Juve (what a surprise) is interested so unlikely to become a future target anytime soon.

I don't know why we aren't interested in him.

He wouldn't cost more than 20M, its peanuts for us. If he doesn't work out, you lose 20M at most, we have lost way more than that on more expensive players.

We should be looking for low risk high reward players like him.

Clearly he's too good for Serie B. Which club will get him this summer?
I'm disapppointed that we haven't even been linked with him.

Hard to explain it in words, but from these Youtube clips, this guy plays in "a too Italian way" for me.

He plays like a pivot of Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio from 90s and early 00s.
He is kinda slow.
Uses his body a lot to shield the ball (as if he lacks technique and pace and then needs to shield the ball on a verge of a foul).

Plus I personally don't like Pirlo's style with too many long balls for our play.
Samper, who was sometimes compared to Pirlo, also annoyed me with too many weird long balls when he had "normal" solutions.

Again, I haven't watched him except on these clips, but I am not too impressed, especially for Barca.

Also, we have so many turtles already.
And this kid looks like a Lord of the turtles.
