This honestly makes sense. Have the proposed crest be the logo for all of our sporting teams. I just say, why not for the football team have the FCB in there like the one on Page 2?
I don't buy the rationale of encompassing our other sports teams into the logo being the reason why they want to get rid of the FCB text. After all our club is still called FC Barcelona, not ES (Club Esportiu or Sports Club) Barcelona.
I think they just wanted something that is simpler.

Update on this: Was supposed to be voted by the socis today, but they started booing when the matter of the new crest showed up so the club cancelled/postponed the vote on it

I don’t get why this is needed personally - just really weird not to have some reference to the club name on the crest. Looks better with FCB on it.
