Don't Atletico work with third party owners to raise player values and re-sell benefitting both?
Pepe could be really great in a counter attacking environment that Simeone will propagate. He would be good for the football LE had us playing in 2015 too actually (Think Dembele and Pepe countering).
It has kind of been Atletico thing for years though, buy fantastic attackers with the potential to sell on. Since Torres left they have had Forlan, Aguero, Falcao, Jackson Martinez (failure), Griezmann and to a lesser extent Diego Costa who came through their youth ranks. Not too shabs.
