Funny thing is if assuming Neymar does, in fact, leave PSG, I wonder how Flo Perez would think.
Perez wanted Neymar so bad, more so than Hazard that he even wanted to do a modern-day Figo on us when we were trying to get Ney to renewal with us. Even after he went to PSG, Perez still wanted Neymar but couldn't make it happen and eventually, they got Hazard because the idea of them getting Mbappe and Neymar seemed far-fetched.
But if Ney ends up leaving and joining us I would actually pay to see Perez's reaction. There's a big chance that if he had held out a bit more he could have finally gotten his man.

There's some smoke this by the looks of it as there are just so many rumors out there today. I have to believe someone within the Neymar clan has been leaking stuff to the press and I believe the club has as well.
But without some huge sacrifices, I just cannot see how we can get him back. Putting personal feelings aside, Getting Griezmann is one thing but Neymar? yeah, that is going to be so difficult that I just cannot see it happening this summer.
Dealing with PSG is one mountain, the other mountain is the problems Neymar is facing off the field+the Lawsuit against us for his "Loyalty Bonus" and trying to get him to lower his wages significantly just some of the issues.
The Sheer complicity of this one is why I'm not confident of a deal being done this summer if the rumors are true. There's just so many things we have to do on our end and Neymar's end in order to get this to even work.

In keeping with this disastrous board, the biggest issue is the sporting one - is Neymar really an upgrade over even say Griezmann? As a player in terms of talent, perhaps but as a professional? Light years apart. Even in the short run, I don't see a professional footballer in Neymar any longer - he is a brand & seems to prioritize this over everything else. After peak MSN and with all the infrastructure & examples to be led by, Neymar couldn't be a professional at Barcelona then so why on earth is there any expectation that he would be now after the circus that was PSG? It's an outrageous scenario to even entertain, a proper & level headed board would dismiss these discussions out of hand and focus on actually improving the overall sporting direction of the club & team
