Horrible stuff. His performances went to hell with that injury, and so did our results. If the turn up like this in Lyon, we will be chasing another comeback at the Camp Nou.

1. Lose a good chance, but earn a corner.
2. Wait until Pique and co will come to attack.
3. Make a HORRIBLE pass to the player of the opposite team.
4. Let the opponent to get a fantastic chance on the counter-attack.
5. After opponent will feck up their chance, do a quick counter-attack.
6. Let Pique (who is still there) to earn a penalty.
7. Score a goal.
8. PROFIT!!!!

Something has been clearly wrong with him. His speed, pace, etc has been off since the last injury. And that sprint frying to get to Dembele pass on about 30 something minutes...

Why doesn't he rest for a bit longer though?

if Messi wants to play every minute, nobody is gonna stop him. Ronaldo has the sense to rest and keep himself fresh for the CL knockouts.. Messi burns himself out just in time for the CL knockouts. this is a recurring pattern and only Messi can change that, no manager is going to stand up and tell him to sit down
