Reminds me of Leicester winning season. They are riding on a wave. With better player, better coach and in general a better club.

They look tired but they will try to go invincible through the season and win every game making it a historic season. And it will cost in Chl and if they weren't as obsessed with PL, they wouldn't have lost to ATM. But can't blame them, I would go for it all as well and winning the leauge with point record and invincible status is better and more historic than a Chl and "ordinary" leauge title in my book.

This is exactly how Atletico will play. They will crowd the box and push Liverpool into a crossing game knowing their best players are no match for Atletico's CBs in the air. Every ball recovery will be turned into a quick counter in the space Liverpool leave behind.

Atletico did play something similar to what watford plays now, it seems atletico exposed some flaws. Cant help to notice how their backline holds position but not chasing movements of lfc frontline. Interesting

Yea, Liverpool lack the technique to really unlock a tight deep defensive block that doesn't make silly mistakes. Against this type of setup the technical limitations of players like Henderson, Milner, even Wijnaldum or Fabinho becomes more apparent. They do not have the required set of skills to play through balls when surrounded by players. So, what they do most of the time is bring the ball wide and play on the wings. Which would be fine if they had a killer 9, but all their front men are small-ish players who like spaces as well.

Don't see Liverpool creating much danger in when the box is packed with players. They thrive on pressing teams and playing the ball fast in space immediately after they recover the ball. But if teams refuse this game of transitions, end to end stuff, and default to a deep block, and they have the defensive solidity to hang on, Liverpool are in trouble.

3-0 will surely knock their confidence. Doubt will creep in. It’s not like losing 3-2 or by being unlucky. Vamos Watford.

Yea. They played like absolute crap and don't look like they have a clue about how to unlock a well put low defensive block that is solid.
