Vinícius Júnior

He is showing all the needed raw talent for a player of his age.
And just like many of his age he will have to work on his game and show improvement and either be a far better player (he has the potential to be top 10 player) or join a never ending list of players who didn't fulfil their potential
Will be interesting to follow him in next 3-4 years

We cant rely on youngsters, Barca buy world class players, we must do the same.
Vinicius cant be a starter next season, and Bale and Benzema needs to be sold in the summer.

Dude stop your meltdown now and get a grip. The only reason anyone is bothered by Vini's poor finishing is because there are another 7-8 players who are more shameful, we are forced to look towards him. The reason he cannot finish is because he puts in a lot of energy in each of his attacks. He gets nervous and anxious, completely normal. If others were pulling their weight he'd be scoring at a better rate.

Ruptured ligaments, along with his club the season is over

Never wish for injuries to rival players and credit where credit is due for a 18.5 year old the kid has been overall impressive all things considered and other than diving he seems like a good kid. Will be seen how much this injury will set him back. Depending on who RM decides to appoint this summer he might very well loose protagonism as written in post 196.

Wish him a speedy recovery.

Yeah, I think it'll be interesting to see how he progresses from here. Certainly too much diving in his game, that is supported by La Liga referees for some reason :shakeshead:

However, a big improvement from the flailing show pony he initially looked like with the youth team. A lot of moving parts and RM is not known for developing youth but they have invested in him and already count on him so much. Still think it's unclear what sort of footballing IQ he has but his skills are very well suited for the LW. We'd be overjoyed to have someone like him, even with all the poor finishing. How he develops going forward, remains difficult to assess but understandable that RM fans are excited about his potential

Poor kid. Pretty big mental blow at this age to get this kind of injury and in a game that ended like this. He was living the dream under Solari and the last few weeks were a nightmare. But if there's any one player that I have faith will come back stronger from it, it's him.

Whenever we get someone half-talented they are made of glass, while Barca-players literally cant get injuried.
But i have gotten used to this bullshit by now, every year its the same.

Thats such a defeatist attitude. We lost Dembele for large spells of last season, which pretty sure fcuked us in the champions league.

What the fuck

An 18-year old played 2 months of continuous first team football being a leading figure of attack and got injured during a tackle

Get. A. Grip.

People have been telling Morten that for years.

For a Trønder he's fucking depressing. He's supposed to be cheerful and loud going by the stereotypes we have.

Im not joking, this will be the begining of a long list of injuries for him, seen it so many times, Bale, Varane, Carvajal etc.

This is actually a real concern, and everyone knows our medical staff is garbage, so its not like they know how the players can prevent injuries in the future either.
