Well, that is interesting.

Valencia, Atletico and Sevilla are massively underperforming so far this season. I hope they don't hit their stride soon (as it sometimes happens when teams play like this in the beginning of the season), since we are playing them in October. Especially Valencia.

Our schedule in October is hectic.

3rd Tottenham away
7th Valencia away
-----------------------International break (please, no injuries)----------------------
20th Sevilla home
24th Inter home
28th El Clasico home

That is 5 tough games in 25 days, 13 of which are international break. This is where we can win or lose the league. Valencia and Sevilla in atrocious form would benefit us massively.

Another international break? :shakeshead:

Yup. And to make things worse:

-Suarez is playing in Japan, on the other side of the Earth
-Brazil is playing Argentina (hopefully Messi won't participate), Cou will likely probably play full 90

At least most of our players are only playing 1 game on 11th or 12th.

To make it worse: nobody cares about meaningless friendlies, no matter how they glorify them. :shakeshead:

Let's hope nobody gets injured. :pedro: (That's not Pedro I had in mind )

Odriozola debuting. No Kroos, Carvajal, Marcelo or Bale in the lineup. Ceballos and Nacho in. Courtois starting too. Vinicius called up for the game, but left off the bench.

This could backfire. But anything could. Should be an interesting watch.

Relax. It's Espanyol. They always manage to play their worst football away to Madrid.

I swear you are the most pessimistic RM fan that could ever exist. No offence lol

Yeah, because having a mindset "we'll steamroll them" this early in the competition has worked so well for us ;) It's alright, we got this. If we score that is. And if we do, then we're en route to 16/17 style rotations.

6-0 Asensio x2, Benzema x1, Isco x2, Ceballos x1
:D :D

I'd be very surprised if espanyol even earns a point seeing as they haven't scored a goal at the bernabeu since 2014.

Joking aside, Espanyol have been confusing Bernabeu with Camp Nou in recent few seasons of La Liga. They give Madrid a harder game, while getting stuffed vs Barca. Confused pericos.
