45M is peanuts for a player of his class. Meanwhile this club will probably pay another 100+ mil for Lautaro who just had 1 good season. It is what it is.

A pretty good transfer for them for 40-45m. He's underrated. Yes he might shoot wildly at times, but he's one of the most creative midfielders out there that can play out wide and fit into the midfield as an attacking CM, and he works his ass off.

Now we'll probably need to find another club to ship Coutinho to. In the end it might come to down to a Coutinho + cash deal for Neymar if no one else is interested in a straight transfer.

The player is class and at that price a bargain. He would slot into the role Coutinho was meant for, but actually be successful as he's not a one trick pony.
Oh well, too late now. Why cant we be smarter with our purchases?

When a player is class for one club, doesn't mean we directly need to have him.
Ziyech is an final/key pass player in the same space as we have Messi, there is 0% reason for Barca to be wanting him right now unless Messi leaves.

Good transfer for Chelsea because they knew Ajax had a verbal agreement with Ziyech they won't ask top dollar for a transfer.
