Whats wrong with that? Robben actually tried to let Olic have the goal and thus just followed the ball towards the goal. Was a bit lucky that the clearing deflected from him into the goal, but thats why you go there ...

Regarding the whole game Bayern hugely altered their tactics. Kroos and Schweinsteiger played as double pivot with the front four being Gomez, Rib, Rob, Müller. One of the CBs occasionally move up into the midfield, esp. in the first 30 minutes and mostly by Badstuber. The three out of Müller, Rob and Rib switched positions also - mostly Robben and Müller. Their ball possession game was a bit higher than usual from that and they got some good situations out of it. What they badly lack however was precise passing and receiving in the final 3rd. Thus they hardly getting any chance in 1st half.

2nd half was Bayern back to their sleepy, deep possession game as the CBs now stayed much deeper and had mostly Schweinsteiger came back to them deep into their own half. It therefore looked like BAyern couldnt do anything again today ... until they luckily scored from a set piece. Wolfsburg still came back into the game and esp. forced a few good free kicks around Bayerns box, while Bayern themselves were still too wasteful with their counters. Took them until OT to finally score again.

No fluidity in attack anymore keeps them from scoring. They have a dilemma similar to the Messi-Ronaldinho-Etoo-Henry one: 4 are 1 too many. And Robben-Ribery-Müller-Gomez just doesnt seem to be working either.

I'd gladly take Muller off of their hands to solve their "dilema"

Most Bayern supporters would instead prefer Gomez to be taken off - with a 40-50M paycheck in return

I've repeated it like 20 times. It still looks weird. No way did he mean that pass for the player that actually received the ball at the end.

The player who receives the pass makes up like 40 yards to collect the ball after Leitner releases it, without anyone interfering.

    - ZonalMarking

Barca hold a key advantage here again, however, where Busquets has carved out a niche in shadowing deep-lying attackers. He knows what they eat for breakfast.

    gladbach is INSANE!

the first goal is simply Reuss...wow!
Second goal JIZZ in my pants.
And then the third one...what a brilliant free-kick version...

So glad Dortmund signed Reuss, hope to see more of him in the CL next year.

If we would face Gladbach in the 1/8 I'd shit my pants. But Leverkusen doesnt concern me much.

Bayern just embarrassed themselves (0-0) against relegation candidates Freiburg. What's worrying for them, they had all the big guns there except Schweini and still didn't create more danger than the hosts.
