Come on, nobody actually demands trebles. That's silly. Fans demand 3 things. Titles, good performances in CL and entertaining football without neglecting youth and La Masia.

Titles, plural? So a double at least. But not a treble. Shoulda said from the beginning.

And about snails like Busquets, Pique, Suarez. Bench them if they don't wake up or can't do it anymore. We need someone who has the balls to do that.

Agree about being easier to manage Liverpool than Barcelona considering the different levels of pressure.

Let's not be dishonest now. Lucho delivered a treble and double. His team was also entertaining and attacking. He was still ridiculed ("Licho", "Fraudrique").

Let's rephrase his statements, since Pep left what was a coach that fans thought he was doing really well and it isn't just Messi is good?
-Tito who had our best ever Liga season despite illness?
-Tata? surely no
-Lucho after winning treble, double and CDR in 3 seasons? After probably one of the most beautiful football ever in 2015? lol fuckin no
-EV after winning doublewith one of worst Barca squads in 15 years? no?
All of them were doubted badly, fans never gave them the proper credit

Why would a come here? go in most demanding job and then found himself descrited all the time?
I mean you are listing 3 things that very close to impossible to do at same time, and yet Lucho did all of them (Not his fault that the likes of Munir and Sandro was the best La Masia could offer at his time) and yet most of fans base think he was a bad coach ffs

In all honesty, if I am an agent of an accomplished coach and had offer from Barca i would advice him against doing it, there is minimal upside here. Only a coach trying to get his 1st top club job will welcome it (like our last 3 coaches)

We don't have a set starting rightback.

Pique is not convincing anyone.

Busquets looks done.

There is no backup leftback.

Suarez and Messi are long past their primes.

Dembélé has a lot of flaws.

Coutinho contributes in the final third but doesn't control the midfield.

Competing for domestic titles as we are doing and maybe getting lucky in the CL is the best we can do. This isn't an all-conquering world class squad that can put 4 past a team like Athletic Bilbao with breathtaking football anymore. Even the Lucho team was ten times as good with MSN in their primes and Iniesta still contributing at a world class level. What do you even want?

Feel completely disconnected from the fanbase these days. Reading Arsene Wenger or Zidane as suggestions. FML

Odd bump. Do you seriously, with a straight face think that the quality of the players is at fault for taking in 4 goals by Betis at Camp Nou? Come off it Wolfe.

Why the hell did you sack your manager instead of selling your players at Madrid then? After all, they lost 5-1 to Barca so they must be shit. Weird logic. Fact of the matter is Valverde is only a bit better than Flopetegui. Not by much.

Ursegor, the guy who would come here if Manchester City lost and Barca won.

Now it's the other way round. Gone missing again. :D

Lol. 31-year old Pique and a converted midfielder that is better than your 20M RB are those quality players. Yep. Haha.

Because you can't sell players mid-season? Donkey.

Yes, most of the old guard are washed up defensively. It's not like it's news. Modrić is still Inter-bound. Ramos-Marcelo lobby is gaining ground. Bale is failing his mood swing test yet again. Benzema is the smiley and mostly useless player who isn't fit for purpose, basically a late-Rooney figurehead, and he was never as good a finisher as him. Kroos has publically stated 'he is no Casemiro' implying he doesn't want to be played deep and have responsibilities to track Marcelo's space. Ramos resorted to thuggery even on training ground and doesn't seem capable of shaking off terrible habits he picked up since the summer, even with a new coach. Odriozola and Ceballos are the only consistently good performers we have on the team.

This is merely a wait until the board have enough reasons to ship out players who are no longer their former selves. It's amusing how you don't recognise that over the other side of the fence.

Now you can point to the "boring" or "slow" football. But that will bring us back to my point: This is not a special or even hungry squad. Pique and Busquets were never fast but now they are over 30. Suarez is also slow and 30+. Messi walks. How much more do you think you can achieve with these players? Losing less than 4 games per year while playing beautiful, fast, dynamic football? I don't think so. This is more or less our level. Competing domestically and maybe with some luck we'll get far in the CL (shouldn't be expected though, anyone of Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern, Atletico, City, PSG can knock us out, on a shit day even Roma).

I'm generally not very active here you clown, I made 10 posts in over 2 months. Did I rustle your jimmies so hard that you waited 3 weeks for a bad result to make a stupid comeback?

You can sell players in the middle of the season, that's why the january window exists . Barca's old guard is the same as Madrid's old guard.

Are you trying to sell the idea that Barca and Madrid don't have quality players anymore? Who does then? Betis, Leganes, Levante, CSKA or the teams that have beaten them this season?

You're the most confusing poster. You make one statement that is completely feasible (the latter), but it only comes after a statement that implies you have some wires fried in your skull. Fucking obviously there is a winter window. Who was the last senior player that went to non-retirement league and got sold impulsively in the middle of a transition season?

Absolutely true that the two old guards are similar. Both are giving a plethora of reasons their time is up. It is up to the presidents to make the call.
