But, who will recieve the award on his behalf? I heard that he is very shy and hates ceremonies. He even stated that if he recieves Nobel's prize, an Oscar or Balon D'Or he won't show up, because those who care for individual prizes are plastic people.

There were tweets saying that if he were to win, he wants Paulinho to receive it as Own goal considers him as the only player who is worthy to win the ballon d'or
