Maybe trying to protect that defence a bit.
If rested those two would be a lot less protection.
Would think will be a lot more rotations once CL starts again.

The next game is on Saturday so the players will have 2 days off I guess. The only reason to rest players was if they admit that they are tired or slightly injured (Piqué). Resting two players out of the starting XI is the right way imo. Our CB-duo is an experiment so we shouldn't exaggerate with rotations.

Be like that when defending would think but when attacking the full backs will provide all the width and will be Messi free roles and Paco/Suarez as strikers.
Probably why Roberto is in again today as FBs going to be needed in final third a lot.
