Subbing Messi off after 60 minutes, resting Suarez and Alba now is best.
Messi can be rested against getafe at home next week or on the bench vs eibar away/ valencia return depending on the result.

From just looking at that line up it looks a 4-2-3-1 with Coutinho and Iniesta playing either side of Messi with Suarez upfront. Rakitic and Paulinho as pivots.

Today will give us an idea if Semedo not contributing that much offensively is a tactical thing (Alba very offensive) or his own issue.

Excited for the game. Seeing Coutinho in the line-up made me smile.

Alaves is currently on a upswing thanks to Abelardo righting the ship. I can see why Valverde would field this lineup, especially with Coutinho and Iniesta together as we are going to need that extra creative punch to open the Bus Alaves are going to park.

All we need is Busquets in there so BBZ8800 can weep. Lol.

Iniesta to the left of Messi and Coutinho to the right me thinks if it’s 4-2-3-1 or Coutinho as RW if it’s 4-3-3 with Iniesta in his usual slot.
