Nope he has been fit since the Classico but Valverde no longer has any use for him.
Arda is a terrible transfer. Deulofeu is easily sold for the same price.

Wouldnt be too sure anyone paying 12m for him and independent of Arda it is a terrible transfer as he is fucking shite.
EPL mid level clubs will offer 10M for him.

Arda is a terrible in hindsight.
When we signed him a lot of people thought he was going to be a good addition to the squad and not to mention he had great periods during his time at Atletico.
With Deulofeu he had none of that and we knew EXACTLY what we were getting, a player that failed at Sevilla, Everton and Milan and was shipped out by Lucho in the summer that he arrived back at Barca.
These aren't things that potential buyers ignore. Deulofeu has nothing but a trail of failure so far in his career. That makes his value decrease and decrease. Very little chance we recoup the 12m we spent on him imo.

Funny thing is Deulofeu wasn't all that sure of coming back even if we activated his buyback clause. For me the only explanations are.
1. We needed a backup winger that can rotate with the front 3.
2. Board/Sporting department felt a little pressure to add at least another La Masia player into the squad.
3. We wanted to buy him and Re-sell him at a higher price however due to Ney's departure and the uncertainty of the Dembele/Coutinho situation we shelved those plans.
4. 2017 was that last year that the buyback clause was in effect, so when it did expire we would have to pay a bigger fee to get him back. so they said fuck it and bought him back which led to the First three points.
5. Robert and the rest of the sporting staff generally believed that he turned a new leaf and would be a good addition to the squad.
Either way in the end like most people predicted he failed to convince anyone that he turned new leaf and improved. Now he's a surplus to requirements like Arda (Ouch) and will likely be sold this winter or in the summer.

Or maybe Costas/Tarin to see if we have a reliable option in our youth-team before spending on Yerry Mina. Maybe that's dreamy, but one shot shouldn't be too much to ask - although the return game could be different and give space for more youthplayers, if the tie is over.
Terrible all the way through as everyone knew. Quite remarkable to be so blind as a sporting director. Meanwhile we missed Nolito and Mahrez both of whom would have made a difference, imo. Not that they would be future greats in the barca shirt, but they would have helped in difficult games, while Arda and Deulofeu just don't have the quality.
All could be true. But even with the buy + re-sell in mind, it was a bad deal - the time spend to plan, buy and sell to earn 10M max is worth more than the money, in a summer transfer-window, imo (e.g. to do some player-research so Di Maria or Verratti aren't your go-to targets
).

I love Wass as a player (former player for my local club), but I actually thought he was ruled out because of injury/sickness or something.
We have to watch out for him
Dembele as a sub is a wise disposition, imo.

Wass was questionable but is included in match squad.
I like him too. Celta seems to scout Danish league a lot. I know they've signed Wass from Evian but they got Sisto and Krohn-Dehli there and they were/are both great success. Lobotka has started his Celta career good as well and they also have Hjulsager though he didn't really make it so far.
