Buffon gets a lifetime achievement award, he's not a great keeper anymore let alone one of the best in the world.

Deserves it too. Been a great keeper throughout his career and was loyal to Juventus after they were booted to Serie B after the Italian football scandal.

This award is such sham; how can they call it an individual award when guys like Lewandowski and Kane don't make it any further than the top 10. It wouldn't have mattered how many goals they scored since this award is all about going the furthest in the right competitions as a team and if you don't you have no shot.

But it'll be forgotten within few years and people will be amazed that Buffon ended up 4th place in Ballon D'or at 40 years old
