Think about it. PSG could play a first 11 filled with squad players until the end of the season and still win the title in april. De Jong will receive more leeway for poor performances at PSG than he'd ever get at Barcelona, because nobody is anywhere near PSG in France.

At Barcelona pressure would be on him from the start. At PSG he can slowly progress without any pressure almost.

While almost everything you said is true, it is rather hard to succeed in PSG midfield.
Cabaye was in France national team and highly rated in Premier League and couldn't make it. Krychowiak was in team of the year in La Liga and he was dropped after few games (he was boycotted by teammates because he was not at the technical level required, they would not pass him the ball).
This is somewhat a compliment to Rabiot, though, he certainly has the ability to play there (which explains the will of Barça board to take him).

PSG has better sporting project and Mbappe, Neymar compared to 32 years old Messi. PSG has Tuchel who is good on player's development compared to Valverde. PSG's midfield is not stacked like Barca's though Barca's midfielders are average bar Busquets and Vidal who are both over 30. it's no brainer for De Jong to choose PSG over Barca.

Everyone is talking about Arthur as superstar, however, All Arthur does is not losing the ball easily and run so much. Market is full of players like him. PSG's lo celso is much better than him.

Regarding farmer league? Barca won 7 titles in the last 10 years and Barca will win it this season too. also considering Real is living generation end.

Arthur is better than De Jong? don't make me laugh. Arthur is not even better than lo celso or paredes.

PSG golden prison? who says so? Verratti's ex agent that he fired. That agent was selling Verratti to Barca, to BM and Juventus every week. after Raiola became his agent, did you read any news about Verratti? No.

Barca must stop adding crazy figures as clauses. then, we can see how many Barca players that PSG can get.

It is rather a forced situation rather than a choice. Barcelona has had a great midfield three in Busquets - Xavi -Iniesta. The former two have been phased out.

PSG strongest midfield was Motta - Verratti -Matuidi. Since then, PSG have tried out players like Cabaye, Stambouli, Krychowiak to no avail. Only Rabiot made a breakthrough and he was given space by selling Matuidi to Juventus. Confronted to our inability to get a single good midfielder we had even renewed Motta for one more year while he was clearly past it and was half of the season out for injury.

Barcelone has countless of options and profiles in midfield. PSG has none, to the point a CB is playing there. Last game, Alves and Bernat ended up playing there. Imagine Barcelona with Semedo and Alba pairing at defensive midfield.

If anything, Barcelona has made much more wise choices than PSG. However, the players PSG has paid big have been good. Coutinho and Dembélé (not lately though) were not sure successes after their first year in Catalogne.

1. Arthur is not average midfielder as you state. Press-resistant players are currently almost impossible to find in today's market. Yes, he needs to get more involved attack-wise, but that will come with time. He is only getting playing time since that 1st Tottenham game. Lo Celso better? LMAO.

2. P$G and Veratti situation had 2 scenarios. That one that happened and the other was the Rabiot route.

3. Clauses? Look at Madrid mate. Plus La Liga is one of the rare leagues that demands clauses. Clubs of other leagues are in advantage for that (P$G to). We simply started doing a Real Madrid with the clauses lately, since this is the only way. Your statement that P$G would buy half of Barca squad with lower clauses is pathetic. Playing for Barca is a prestige, because of the history.

Arthur is such an underrated player. He came straight from brasil and is slowly taking his spot at club and nt. He has a much stronger competition than de jong ever had for his spot and at the end de jong has more to prove than him especially because of his price tag.

Prestige is overrated (just like the movie!). Most players would run for money, but Barca's a good club to play for. In terms of success, wages and prestige. It's a shame La Liga asks for clauses. Otherwise, we would be in much better position. Starting with PSG's Neymar deal.

PSG can add none, QSG all, they don't even need a scouting team, they can ask fans who they want and buy them all.

Yes, we're offering a lot. Not like Barca asks players to accept wage reduction because 'history'. We're offering lots of money.

Setting a clause too high is often demanding, Spain is restricting its own league.

League level - definitely.
