Had to work so couldn’t catch the game and highlights aren’t a good way to measure performance. How were we? Was the score line fair?
Reading through here it seems bad
We could have been better if Valverde didn't force a 442 setup, as usual Suarez and Rakitic were VERY slow, lost the ball alot, hardly supported Messi, you could argue Messi missed an open header but hey, he scored the first and led the second, like what more do ppl want. Overall, Umtiti and Pique were stretched out and were caught out during Celta's counter, and Umititi pulled his hamstring. Alba and Roberto cant do much as they were too upfront.
Conclusion, same old boring tactics that could be better, largely ineffective but saved by Messi's brilliance once again. Week in, week out, nothing really changed.

Celta played really well, Aspas especially. Celta deserves props for scoring 2, that is quite rare for a Barca opponent this season.
Barca had plenty of good chances, should have won by about 5-2. Way too many shots off target or straight at the keeper. Since Paulinho gets off about as many shots as all the other Barca midfielders and fullbacks combined, it is important that he shoot better than he has recently. I wish Arnaiz would have been the sub instead of Paco.

They scored the second because Umtit pulled a muscle. Otherwise they would never score that second imo. Umtiti already took the guy out so if he was able to keep running he would have gotten the ball.

We looked shaky in defense all game.
Celta could have scored more than two the way they opened up the defence so easily at times. No real urgency in attack for a lot of the game. Should have gotten Messi on the ball a lot more as he was the only one looking dangerous especially since iniesta went off. It used to be so easy to win at home most of the time but nowadays it's become a struggle like today and the Sevilla game. What do expect when you are starting rakitic and paulinho and playing 4 4 2. Didn't create enough to really deserve the win anyway. Much improvement needed
We hit the post 2 or 3 times, had few other great opportunities (Paulinho, Paco, Messi headers), Pique's squandered opportunity...
Not to mention legit goal being disallowed (again). What we should be is 12 points ahead of Madrid.
I am not happy with way we played but let's be fair. Celta did well to punish our mistakes but they neither created more nor overplayed us.

Rubbish , Umtiti was a nightmare yesterday the whole match.
