According to Francesc Aguilar/MD we are following another young French talent. After Tolisso was sold to Bayern this summer Tousart has established himself as a starter in Lyon's midfield. Don't really know much about him of if he could play CM but maybe we are looking at him as a potential longterm Busquets's replacement (we have more urgent needs right now but eventually we'll have to think about that as well). Anyway, with our recent success with Umtiti and the amount of talent that Ligue 1 has produced he's another player to keep an eye on for the future. Also, we are on good terms with Lyon so that should help us if we'll decide to seriously go after Tousart and/or their other players (Fekir, Aouar,...).

Easier place to take decent players from so worth keeping eye on.

They are doing something right at Lyon, getting good results and apparently playing attractive football with the core being relatively young. Quite impressive that are able to perform at such a high level, both in the French league and EL, with the very young Aouar-Tousart duo, speaks volume of their talents.

Would be nice to see them become contenders in the long run. But unfortunately their youngsters will be bought just like Monaco's last summer and the gap between Lyon and the biggest clubs in Europe will not become smaller.
