We would be seriously stupid to sell a 24 year old CB who has missed just 2 games in 5 seasons through injury, who himself is a fine 2/3 option.
Leaving us with a 33 year old Pique, 26 year old Umtiti who has missed 50+ games in through injury since joining Barcelona.
We would need to sign a replacement for Lenglet, a replacement for Umtiti and a replacemet for Pique over the next 1, 2 seasons.
This is one sale that would not be worth the paper its printed on.

I don't think he's starting material for us but we have no other options. Umtiti is done. Pique is on his way out. Arajuo is an unknown and the board is only interested in bringing in 100 million euro flops 😂.

I agree - anyone that wants him out now is a bit mad. We have no replacement, and much rather need one more quality CB than letting go of him!
He is reliable and unless you play FIFA you don't need 11 starnames in your team to win, that is not how football works. Even look at Liverpools midfield right now, for other world class players to shine you need some dull ones. Lenglet will never be WC, but we still need not-WC players in our squad to get through a season. I would go as far as to say that we need 2 new quality CB-signings (young, rising, proven in good leagues) before we consider letting Lenglet go.
Setien probably won't care, as he just play yolo-football and places Firpo as 3rd centerback along with Pique and Semedo/Roberto, looool.

We are selling Arthur,Griezmann,Semedo and no one wants them.
Icardi and Lukako both will not get 80 million.
They can sell it but no one normal would offer anything close enough.
They are cheap shitty italians who can't even buy barella or rafinha or sensi without loan options and paying moee then 20mil

Well, we have players that clubs like Inter wants, but they don't want to leave or they have other preferences.
The real issue is trying to sell certain players but in return, we are trying to get replacements who are worse than the guys we are trying to force out. If you're going to sell Semedo, but replace him with fucking De Sciglio they can fuck off with that Bullshit. I would rather use the money we get from Semedo and reinvest into the RB spot first than use the majority of the cash to try and put it into Martinez.
