    Fernando Llorente

    Fernando Llorente Torres

He would add a much-needed extra dimension to the side, both in an offensive and defensive context.

Especially next season when we will need that option in the UCL against the English teams who are strong in the air and set plays and will set out to exploit our frailties in these departments.

At 6 feet, five inches tall, Llorente is an imposing physical presence. His aerial ability causes defenders and goalkeepers no end of problems when challenging for headers in and around the penalty box.
Besides his distinct height advantage and heading capability, Llorente is also accomplished with the ball at his feet and possesses remarkable control and balance for such a big man.
A player of his ilk would be a welcome acquisition.

    Floppy-haired Casillas look.

Also I think Casillas looks a bit like Orlando Bloom. or is that just me?

Great player, would like for him to join Barça. We don´t actually need pacey strikers like Eto'o, because our whole pushes forward and plays and most teams usually park the bus, in that case it's a strong target man like LLorente who can make the diffrence either with heading, our out-muscling defenders. Speed isn't really an asset in such cases. He has a good shot on him as well, so I'd welcome him with open arms.

Yes me too, he is definitely one of my favourite players in la liga... he would fit perfectly between Messi and Henry.
Speed, heading ability, strenght, a star player but not a star (iniesta like), spanish, teqnique... these are some positive things about him. I'd be overjoyed to see him in our shirt.
But, Bilbao will probably not sell him, and he he doesn't want to move. But if there is one team who possibly could buy him it's Barca thanks to our good relationship with Bilbao. But it's not very likely, they have no one to replace him with unless they change their "only basques" policy which they won't and of course shouldn't.

Nice, I rate this guy highly. I'd prefer we got Villa but it's cool to see there's other options in the Liga

Would take him at Anfield without doubt.

And if you look at his name again we'd have 2 fernando torres's up front

Tall target man player. A little bit taller than Torres but they are similar type of players.
Torres still has better ball control and more pace.

Would be a nice backup when we need someone who can wrestle in the opposition box

His stats are average, i've seen him play a couple of times and he's not Barca metariel (perhaps a back-up). However we do need a tall target man that is capable of challenging at the highest level.

If you got a target man you wouldn't play such good football.

The best target man in the without question is Drogba. Ok Imbrahimovic and Luca Toni are good and more technical, but Drogba is the best at bringing the ball down, heading, holding up the ball and bullying defenders. On his day Drogba is unbeatable.

Although having a target man is not the way Barca should play imo.
