Insanity. Only explanation. The market has gone mad and everyone and their grandmother are requesting 100 million euro fees for players with decent to good displays for half a season.

Okay, here is a list of midfielders of that price range that imo are roughly on Sergej's level (or slightly worse/better): Vidal, Nzonzi, Fabinho, Tolisso, Goretzka, Nainggolan, Brozovic, Aouar, Gundogan, Arthur, Lo Celso, Torreira, Zielinski, Fred, Allan, Hamsik and etc. I recognize that not every of those is a B2B player like Sergej. Still, he has not shown anything extraordinary. Yes, he is silky smooth on the ball and strong af, and he costs a ton of money because of the first part (his technique). His defensive output is mediocre. Granted, he is still only 23 and could eventually become a 90m player, but he is not anything like that atm.

His age is the reason he costs so much, he will likely be playing at the highest level for a decade at least and his ceiling is very high. In your list I only see 2 or 3 players that are like Sergej but they are either older or not as good as him, I wouldn't sell him for less than 60m.

Keep an eye for him the next couple of days. If United sign him then things will get very interesting.

Milan's allegedly willing to pay 40 mil for a one-year loan and 80+ next year. Lotito wants the money now. He mustn't let it go, imo. Will never receive a similar offer, will end up like Torino's Cairo refusing 70+ mil offers for Belotti, now having to settle for 30-25 what Napoli's offering.

While the case for Lobotka is well advanced, that of SMS is more complicated due to the fee he would demand. Lazio's board isn't open to a loan with a mandatory purchase so securing the transfer will be difficult for PSG.

Can we just pay 150m+ for this guy and solve all our midfield problems already?

Barcaforum, as always, has me convinced the 150m+ Pogba successor and complete midfielder Sergej-Milinkovic-Savic was the solution in the summer so he must still be worth looking at.
