Very much doubt he'll play Alena before we secure the 1st place.

    Olympiakos honoring Valverde:

Barca manager enjoyed two stints in charge of the Piraeus-based club, winning the league title in each of his three seasons alongside two Greek Cup successes.

“The fans are more excited by his (Valverde) return than they are of playing against the talent of Lionel Messi.”

The Greek club’s Ultra group Gate 7 is also said to be planning their own pre-game tribute to Valverde, who is held in high regard by the club.

Would be nice to see some of the youngsters getting a chance here, especially with sevilla on the weekend, the squad could do with a rest.

Still need to win this game.

Olympiakos at home is not the type of game that is a gimme to start playing a bunch of youngsters.

Agreed. Always a tough away game for most in the CL.

This season Olympiacos is not as stable as it used to be. Besides, talking about youngsters, there's only Alenya included in the squad.

Think this shouldn't be that tough. Hope - Alenya starts and - Messi is rested.

    Mats
Semedo. Mash or verminator umtiti. Alba
    Rakitic
    Paulinho. Sergi roberto
    Deulofeu Messi. Suarez

Busquets has been overplayed so far this season. This is a good game to get Semedo and Deulo out there.

    Only one youngster.

You guys rather want underperforming Rakitic to grace us with his experience of backpasses and getting shredded defensively by any quicker player?

Not to forget Rakitic has played every single game this season. At this rate he'll get injured too or a bigger burden in the latter stages of the season.

Olympiakos is not a tough opponent. They're just one of the most corrupt ones.

Tough enough that playing a bunch of youngsters in away game vs them while resting Messi would be a risky idea.

Not a bunch of youngsters, only Aleyna.

I'd go with: MAtS; Semedo, Vermaelen, Mascherano, Digne; Alenya, Roberto, Paulinho, Denis; Paco, Suarez
