What are the chances of this vote actually being successful?

They expect the yes camp to win, but whether that will mean Catalonia becomes independent is doubtful, especially in the short run. It's going to be very interesting.

Gerard Piqué on Twitter: "From today until Sunday, make our voice heard peacefully. #Votarem"

Sergio Ramos: "His tweet isn't the best if he doesn't want the Spanish fans to whistle him."

This is far more important than some dumb fans whistling Pique, but Ramos is too stupid to understand that.

Piqué said a million times that he doesn't care about them whistling, so that tweet doesn't even make sense. It looks like Ramos commentates every move Piqué makes just to make himself more popular in Madrid.

In my opinion none. I see it just as a dissuasion tool to get some political advantages nothing more.

I am out, as a foreigner I can't vote anyway. I was at some protests during the week, but the ones today might get out of hand soon. It's only 11:30 and people are already getting hurt because Spanish police uses violence. Even elderly people, children,... it's shameful. People are only there to vote, nothing else.

Follow everything on Twitter, tv3,... it's disgusting.

Do you believe that this violence from spanish police could turn the Catalan people against them and start some serious protests and violence?

As I understand it, the referendum by itself doesn`t change anything, because Spain doesn`t see it as a legal one.
