Malcom

denis and malcom do not play the same position what logic is that even...

dembele was on the bench, if malcom took his place you would be saying the same bullshit with other name.

Dude, what the fck are you talking about really?. Seriously, If you fail to understand a post, just ask for an explanation or stfu man.

There is no rule when it comes to the composition of players on the bench. It's up to the coach and the scheme he intends to use. whether he favours a more attacking or defending approach, or perhaps balanced. And even then, different coaches have different definitions of what balanced means to them. This area is optional and subjective. You can have both Dembele and Malcolm on the bench with Munir, Vidal, 2 defenders and a GK. Or, exclude Munir and have Rafinha. Everything is optional here. You can also have just 1 defender maybe Lenglet with Cillessen, Vidal, Rafinha, Malcolm, Dembele and Munir.

My point is that Denis adds nothing to the team. He adds nothing in midfield, nothing up front, nothing whatsoever. He's a Gomes type player, a waste of space. So why have him there? Malcolm in comparison is superior to denis and is a more dynamic player. He can play as part of a front 3 or out wide in a four man midfield. Over time and with the right coaching and instructions, he can develop his defensive work rate. Personally I see no reason why we can't have him and Dembele in the same team.

For example in the CL final , Zidane (Bench) had 1 GK (Cassilla) 2 defenders (Nacho,Theo), 1 midfielder in (Kovacic) and 3 attackers (Bale, Lucas Vazquez and Asensio). Bale can also slot in at LM but In Zidane's setup he is a pure attacker which leaves kovacic as the sole proper midfielder. With Ernie, thats too many attackers. So, one of Lucas or Asensio sits in the stands and might make way for a guy like Ceballos.

I'll repeat again, i prefer to have a player like Malcolm over Denis on the bench. With the greatest of respect, i don't give a sh!t if they play different positions and that makes no sense in the grand scheme of things. The composition is optional. I prefer to have players in there than can perform on the big stage. Players that can change the game if need be. Electric players. That's my preference. Ernie is being a bitch because he couldn't get the workhorse he requested.

in your real madrid lineup example
3 subs for the backline, 1 central midfield that can play all their three positions, and 2 forwards
lucas vazquez was used mostly as a rightback for real madrid when carvajal had his heart issues, and was brought on in the final i believe as a RB.

we had 2 forwards in the bench, dembele and munir.. we have no need to ever have both dembele and malcom on the bench as they are both left and right wingers neither can play in the middle, also considering messi is almost never subbed out it would be wasted space

idk why this is even a debate you're example is kinda trash nor worth fighting about lmao
when dembele is starting and so is coutinho, i agree malcom should be the first on on the bench list.. but that wasn't the case

There's no debate here buddy. take a break from porn and watch more football, then my example might make more sense to you. There's no one way to look at where players can fit in. Everything is down to the coach to fit the pieces together.

Sport Claims, Spurs, Inter and Arsenal want to sign Malcom in January but Malcom doesn't want to leave and wants to triumph at Barca and the Club won't let him go.

He doesn't need to be patient. He needs to leave. Barca has signed one of our most promising young attacking players, arguably the best of his age group, and has all but ruined his progression. It's a joke, and should serve as a warning to young players everywhere. Sometimes playing consistently is more important than the shirt you're wearing.

His chance to join Barca wouldn't vanish had he waited for the move.

If his situation doesnt improve, his only option is to force a loan in January. The club won’t sell but might be open to a loan. With the potential he has, it’s a waste for both the club and the player if he keeps getting overlooked.

I was hyped as fuck when we signed him but honestly, he should leave asap. until we get rid of this cunt of a manager, no youngsters should even think about joining Barca. it'll be the same when we sign De Ligt and De Jong.. Pique will still be a starter and poor Raki will be limping his way through midfield

EV will probably throw Malcom in a game were losing due to his fuckery tactics and then leave him on the bench for another month when he doesn't save us and plays rusty

Malcom and Vidal will both be gone in January i think

I feel that Malcom is going to outlast EV. If I were him, I would get a 6 month loan like how Rafinha did with Inter and then come back to Barca in the summer to see what the situation will be with EV

the problem with EV is we'll still likely win la liga, albeit more of a scrap and struggle than last season. Copa also we'll have a good shot at so a double is possible and the board won't sack a manager who wins back to back doubles.

I've even heard commentators, was on Beinsports i think, saying 'barca fans are so ungrateful, the man won the double last season and still has doubters!!11111'

If Valverde is looking for more options to switch it up why not give Malcom at least a shot at it.

Valverde has tried the Dembele-Suarez-Messi Frontline with Coutinho in the middle and we struggled as the team was defensively bad so he switches it up with Cou in the Frontline and Arthur moved into the CM and it sort of work as we have more control but we are still struggling a bit putting chances away or creating chances and we have some defensive problems still.

Malcom isn't in the Mbappe or even Dembele Catagory in terms of talent. But he's still one of the best rated young talents in the world. It actually baffles me why he isn't being used, He's not only talented but he has shown in Preseason he can track back and defend when needed.

Comes down to it perhaps Malcom could be the guy who can solve our RW problems. Sometimes even the more talented player like Dembele may not be the answer but someone like Malcom who seems more balanced could be.

I mean we had Pedro as a starter for a number of years. He wasn't the most talented Winger in the world but he damn sure had his own skill set to be really effective when needed.
